奧運跆拳道項目昨晚（17日）登場，首度參加奧運的我國選手黃懷萱，第一戰就對上兩屆奧運金牌的中國吳靜鈺，黃懷萱雖然奮力拚戰，但雙方實力與經驗都有差距，最後黃懷萱以1：10落敗，沒想到吳靜鈺竟在八強賽，爆冷輸給塞爾維亞好手包格當諾維奇，連帶讓黃懷萱失去敗部復活機會，奧運初體驗也畫下句點。
